Happy New Year,
First off, Nolan, Braydon & I can’t thank you enough for your personal interest in becoming the best player, parent or coach possible over the last year! Your individual interest in being a part of DirtBag Baseball Nation & our Baseball Evolution Podcast family is why we do what we do everyday.
Here’s a few of the things that really stood out to us over this past year:
- how hard you train with us, face to face and online
- the passion & demand for DirtBag Apparel being bought & worn by players, parents & siblings
- receiving great podcast requests regularly
- social media engagement
- requests for appointments to talk baseball and grow mentally, physically & emotionally
- our growing nation of players, parents, coaches, inventors, network from all over the world
For these and so much more, we thank you again for your amazing Attitude, Commitment & Effort. We’re just getting started!
Now, let’s get to Happy New Years and 2020.
This day of the year is all about focusing on and making New Year’s Resolutions. We’re here to tell you that you’ll never be successful or achieve anything if you stay in this mindset. You will fail almost 100% of the time because you’re wasting time instead of taking control of your time! We want you to be successful and we realize all of the highs/lows, challenges & obstacles that can occur on a daily basis, so we want you to have the following Mindset for 365 days of the year and not just on New Year’s Day.
“BASEBALL EVOLUTION NEVER ENDS”
This Mindset will free you up to understand that this game is a never ending journey. Just like life, this game will give you incredible highs and lows every single day.
🔑 – You need to know that if you’re going to become a true DirtBag player, parent, coach or inventor, then you must have an impenetrable ATTITUDE that creates an unwavering COMMITMENT & EFFORT level to become the absolute best version of yourself or training aid you’re developing! We start all of our training programs by introducing why you must have these “ACE” Character Traits. We can’t help you reach your ultimate baseball dreams & no one else can either if you don’t understand it’s never ending & that you possess these traits on a daily basis.
Here’s our personal 2020 mission & requests of you:
Braydon – to continue to educate myself in baseball & life in order to help you continue your personal baseball journey. I would like you to find your own personal Guiding Principle(s), so that you have a place to start, maintain or return to during the different stages of your baseball journey.
Nolan – to continue to be truthful, blunt & direct with you personally as well as anyone else when it comes to giving feedback in regards to any and all baseball related inquiries. I would like you to focus on being honest and not pass blame when it comes to your own personal character traits. If someone asks you a tough question about how you feel they are doing, I want you to answer honestly in a constructive way. Don’t lie to them! Everybody deserves honesty and needs to receive it properly whether it’s what they want to hear or not. Answering honestly will also gain you respect over the long haul.
Kirk – to continue to “Tell you what you need to hear and Not just what you want to hear”. I want to continue to give you content that will help you evolve as a player, parent, coach or inventor through this blog, Baseball Evolution Podcast, our website. We want to grow our awareness & content by adding great people, like Alex Chow, to our network with backgrounds in strength, conditioning, nutrition, training, data research on training aids. We will be adding a YouTube channel as well in order to provide you with training videos as well as humorous videos related to things that happen in the game that we think are funny and or idiotic. I would like you personally to continue to grow as a player, parent, coach or inventor everyday. I want to hear from you in regards to your baseball journey. It doesn’t have to be a question, you can just share how your season is going, if you’re going to a tournament or special event like a showcase, college signing day photo, pro draft photo, pro debut or anything that you, a teammate, a parent, a coach or a player did that was DirtBag worthy. Send us a photo or video, so we can share it or just have for our own files. I’d also appreciate it if you told one person a day that you know who is a DirtBag about DirtBag Baseball Nation & Baseball Evolution Podcast. Let’s blow this up because Baseball Evolution Never Ends!
We’d like to welcome our newest member of our DirtBag family.
Alex Chow – Alex will be our resident strength coach. He will be providing blog posts and videos on a wide variety of strength, conditioning & nutrition related topics.
